Meet 2023 Senior Rep Rayney! She attends Collierville High School and is a member of their competitive cheer squad. She is super easygoing and always has a smile on her face. I have loved getting to know her this year and am so glad she is on my Senior Rep Team!

In addition to many styled group shoots, each of my Senior Reps has a solo session where the focus is totally on them! The first decision clients need to make when planning their session is where they want to go. Some love an urban look and others prefer natural backgrounds. Still others want a little bit of both for their images. Rayney decided she wanted an urban solo session and chose the South Main Arts District in Downtown Memphis. South Main (as locals call it) is a vibrant area full of interesting shops, restaurants, art and history. We talked a lot about what outfits would go best in this area and Rayney knocked it out of the park with her styling!

The weather was fabulous for our session day in early September. The temperature was much more bearable than our crazy hot July and August! Last summer was particularly hot here in Memphis, with heat indexes climbing above 100 regularly.

I love how Rayney’s outfits paired perfectly with the industrial backgrounds and colorful street art. In an urban environment, the best images can often come from very unexpected places like a back alley, along an interesting building or in front of a colorful mural. It’s always an adventure in the city!
