What a fun day with SGIS Senior Anna-Kathryn! She and her mom were so kind to allow me to come to their home and take photos of hair and makeup preparations with makeup pro Maddie. Working with a hair and makeup pro can really de-stress your session day and give you all the fun pampering you deserve! Makeup pros use all the best products and techniques to apply them so the look lasts for hours. Maddie is so sweet and does a great job getting my clients photo ready. Anna-Kathryn chose the Midtown, Memphis area and the Brooks Museum for her session. After one weather reschedule, we had a beautiful sunny day. The wind was a bit challenging but having soft waves in her hair and a little bit of hairspray helped a lot! Memphis is known for its windy spring days so we just learn to get creative with posing and wait for the lull between the gusts ha!

I loved all of Anna-Kathryn’s looks and she was just so sweet and easy to work with. We captured so many beautiful images and now I am looking forward to making a gorgeous heirloom album together! Wishing her all the best at Wofford College later this year!
