At the University of Alabama, we are lucky to have SO many iconic buildings and beautiful places to take pictures. From the President’s Mansion to the Roll Tide Bridge, we have a lot to choose from. You may be wondering what are the best places to use? When you book me, we customize your session to include the places on campus that YOU love! The “Best” spots are the ones you choose because they are meaningful to you. Here are some of my favorite places and photos I’ve taken at each one!
PRESIDENT’S MANSION
Across from Denny Chimes on University Blvd. is one of the most popular spots on campus for grad photos. The white Greek Revival President’s Mansion has been the official residence of UA’s presidents since it was built in 1841. The mansion’s architecture is stunning and the grounds are meticulously maintained by the amazing UA Grounds Dept. Each season, we are treated to new flowers, from the tulips and azaleas of spring to the salvia and begonias of late spring and summer. I love to include close ups and sweeping views of the mansion in our sessions. After Thanksgiving, the Mansion is decorated for the Christmas season with fresh garlands and wreaths!

DENNY CHIMES
Across from the President’s Mansion is the 115-foot tall bell tower called Denny Chimes. Built in 1929, it was dedicated to former UA President George H. Denny. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of walking across the Bama quad, you’ve probably heard the 25 bells of the chimes mark the time. If you’re super lucky, you’ll be there on a day when you get treated to a longer musical selection. Bama grads love having their photos taken at the Chimes and I can understand why!

BRYANT DENNY STADIUM
Bryant Denny is a must have on every Bama grad’s photoshoot agenda. SO many game-day memories are made at this iconic stadium! My sessions typically include the Walk of Champions, Nick Saban statue, Bryant Denny Wall and Tusk. If clients reserve Big Al, he usually joins us at the stadium for adorable shots together. Don’t forget to bring your champagne and confetti…the posing possibilities are simply endless!

SORORITY & FRATERNITY HOUSES
If you were a member of one of the many greek organizations on campus, you’ll want to include your house in our photoshoot! You made so many memories there with your friends and they are the perfect backdrop for awesome images.

MAJOR BUILDINGS
Most of my clients love to include their major building in their grad session. Ten years from now, they will look back on these images and relive all the memories of the classes, professors and friends who made their time here so special.

ROLL TIDE BRIDGE
The Roll Tide Bridge is one of my personal favs! It is located in Northport, just a five minute drive from campus. The background is so fun and the sunset light is always amazing.

RANDALL WELCOME CENTER
When the President’s Mansion underwent renovations from December, 2025 through August, 2026, the Randall Welcome Center quickly became a grad favorite for photos! It is the home of UA’s undergraduate admissions and has stunning architecture. Students love the combination of white marble flooring, wooden benches, pretty railings and gorgeous sunset lighting.

OFF CAMPUS
Many clients like heading off campus to capture the special places they enjoyed while at UA!
